Senior Quantitative Analyst Trading & Origination (all)
Step into a role shaping a strategic, proactive quantitative backbone for Trading & Origination. Work at the intersection of modelling, fundamentals and trading, clarify complex exposures, speed up decisions across power, gas, carbon and renewables, and optimise processes for a competitive setup.
Your field
- You analyze daily positions and P&L, explain variances, and ensure a reliable analytical foundation
- You monitor and interpret risk exposures such as sensitivities, Greeks, VaR, and stress scenarios with strong quantitative depth
- You build and maintain reports and dashboards that clearly explain P&L attribution, risk metrics, and KPIs across all desks in Trading & Origination
- In close collaboration with modelling and fundamental market analysis teams, you align assumptions and analytical structures
- You design, extend, and automate tools and analytical frameworks in Python or similar languages
Your strengths
- A Master's degree in a quantitative field and experience in an energy or derivatives-related trading environment
- 2–3 years in risk modelling, control or analytics, allowing you to navigate complex trading flows confidently
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar to analyze data and implement analytical solutions
- Solid understanding of linear and non-linear trading instruments and their key risk drivers
- Ability to communicate quantitative insights clearly and efficiently to a wide range of stakeholders, i.e. traders, originators, risk controllers, strategists and top management
- Fluency in English; German or French is an advantage
