Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with business leaders and employees. You support the business on all HR operational levels by partnering with respective managers. You develop and implement the people strategy through the execution of HR processes. This role is contributing to the Energy Industries business area in Switzerland and some global hosted positions. Main stakeholders are employees, managers, global HR Business Partners and the local HR community. The business area includes functions in R&D, Product Management, Sales, Service, Engineering, Project Management, Production and Support & Commercial operations, resulting in an organization of approximately 190 people. You will be mainly accountable for:• Build strong relationships with business leaders and employees, representing HR and ensuring effective HR contributions.• Collaborate with managers to develop and implement people initiatives, including local development and capability programs.• Facilitate change management, drive continuous improvement, and provide HR support on labor laws and policies.• Stay updated with the latest HR trends and practices, utilizing data to inform decisions and strategies while overseeing HR processes from hiring to retirement, and ensuring effective communication, engagement, and collaboration across the organization.
Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Human Resources and proven experience in the role as HR Business Partner (+5 years) and in managing HR processes.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in stakeholder management and conceptual thinking and execution as well as strong business acumen with the ability to quickly assess and respond to risks and opportunities, ensuring decisions lead to successful outcomes.
- Comfortable in challenging the status quo and conveying your ideas to multiple audiences.
- Self-driven, solution-oriented and demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take on challenges and drive results.
- Sound knowledge of Swiss labor law.
- You are comfortable communicating in both English and German, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication to resolve conflicts, build trust with employees, management, and other stakeholders. You can work effectively in diverse cultural settings and promote inclusivity within the organization. You enjoy working with diverse tool landscape. SAP & Workday experience is considered a plus.
