The Deloitte Greenhouse and Client Events Team together create a dynamic and innovative platform designed to engage and inspire our most strategic clients. The Deloitte Greenhouse is an immersive environment that combines behavioural methods, analytics, technology, and expert facilitation to accelerate breakthroughs and uncover valuable insights. It serves as a creative space for cultivating ideas, relationships, and opportunities through a suite of unique Labs offerings.
Complementing this, the Client Events Team organises over 100 diverse events annually—ranging from intimate roundtables and private dining to large flagship gatherings with over 350 attendees—engaging more than 1,500 clients primarily in the German-speaking region of Switzerland. The team ensures seamless planning and execution of client events, conferences, workshops, and webcasts, both virtual and in-person, upholding Deloitte’s high business standards and delivering distinctive, memorable experiences that strengthen client relationships.
Position Summary:
The Event & Greenhouse Coordinator plays a pivotal and multifaceted role in supporting our client engagement and internal team success within the German-speaking region of Switzerland. This role encompasses planning and executing client-facing events while also providing essential project, administrative, and operational support to the Greenhouse/Transition Labs team.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that business standards are consistently met to deliver a differentiated and high-quality client experience, as well as coordinating and executing team initiatives with precision and professionalism. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication skills, discretion, and diplomacy in all interactions.
This role requires a proactive self-starter with executive presence, capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently and flexibly, anticipating challenges, and delivering results that contribute to both client satisfaction and internal team effectiveness.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan and execute client events from start to finish, including virtual and in-person formats.
- Lead and coordinate third parties such as suppliers, internal teams, and clients.
- Manage event budgets and registrations, ensuring data privacy compliance.
- Provide post-event performance analysis with improvement recommendations.
- Manage Greenhouse bookings and coordinate lab logistics and admin with relevant leads.
- Monitor and manage shared mailboxes for event and lab inquiries.
- Track Labs in Salesforce including follow-up actions and influenced revenue.
- Maintain and update content and data on SharePoint, Teams, and other platforms.
To be considered for this role, a candidate must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
- 2-3 years’ event marketing/management experience, preferably in professional services or hospitality.
- Strong business acumen, organisational skills, and team collaboration experience.
- Excellent client-facing presence with a service- and quality-oriented approach.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and virtual event platforms.
- Problem-solving and project management skills.
