Your role and responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you are a key player in our organization and one of our primary ambassadors to our customers. The value of our solutions is also reflected in the quality of their implementation in the field. Whether it involves commissioning, maintenance, or troubleshooting, our specialists are recognized and valued for their technical expertise, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.

The work model for the role is field-based.

This role is contributing to the Motion Service, Local Sales Unit in Morges.

You will be mainly accountable for

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of frequency converters (drives).

• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting directly at customer sites.

• Administrative tasks such as service reports, protocols and technical reports, as well as on-call duty.

Qualifications for the role

• Federal Certificate of Proficiency (CFC) in Automation, Automation Assembly, Electronics, Electrical Installation, Electrical Assembly, or equivalent qualification.

• Advanced Federal Diploma (ES) or University of Applied Sciences degree (HES) is a plus.

• Experience in the field of power electronics is desired.

• Excellent command of French; good communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of German is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

• Availability for a field-based role with frequent travel across Switzerland and on-call duty.

• Good communication skills.

• Self-reliant, responsible, and customer-oriented personality.
