Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and seamless onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your knowledge by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development.

The work model for the role is: onsite/hybrid #LI-hybrid #LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Designing and implementing advanced algorithms to optimize industrial processes within our operation and analytic frameworks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate models and algorithms into real-world industrial applications.
• Providing technical advice and insights to enhance the development and implementation of digital solutions.
• Contributing to the software roadmap and ensuring timely, on-budget implementation by suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.

Qualifications for the role

• You possess advanced programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C, and you have an educational background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• You have proficiency in mathematical modelling and system analysis.
• You have established advanced skills and several years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating technical proficiency.
• Your data analysis skills allow you to pinpoint system parameters and enhance performance.
• You are fluent in English and have effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• You are detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, and familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, or industrial systems is beneficial.
