Business Analyst in Global Mobility Technology - Tax & Legal

The Global Employer Services (GES) team, as part of the Deloitte Tax & Legal department, provides multi-national companies with targeted advice and strategies for running Global Mobility programmes in an efficient manner with respect to tax and social security compliance and supports clients with the end-to-end management of global mobility activities for internationally mobile employees. The team also ensures that clients are able to manage these activities in market leading technology.

As a Business Analyst on the Payroll and Workforce Management team, you will support our clients with technology configuration activities. If you enjoy critical thinking and problem-solving within a global team structure then this is the role for you.  We’re excited to work with our new and existing global client base providing tailored technology solutions to help them manage their mobile workforce. Software is the key to success in this space and we are looking for people ready to implement successful solutions for our client partners.

How you can make an impact

As a Business Analyst at Deloitte, you will be part of a technology team. The focus of the role will be to provide innovative solutions and solve problems that our multi-national clients in Global Mobility face.

• Be confident in developing strong working relationships with clients through participating in workshops whilst documenting business requirements, but also with internal teams
• Work with the wider implementation team to translate these requirements into software and process solutions for implementation
• Help manage implementation work items; either through managing your own deliverables or those of our offshore support team
• Develop into being able to identify areas of scope creep and manage risk effectively with your wider technology team
• Be a part of an implementation configuration and testing team, but also develop into being able to support clients with solutions to tier-one issues and questions

Who we are looking for

• Proactive self-starter who excels with problem solving, attention to detail and an analytical mind-set
• Comfortable with technology applications and intermediate Excel knowledge required with knowledge in Macro VBA/SQL being an advantage
• Confidence in internal and external stakeholder management with basic project management skills
• Mobility experience and understanding of the expatriate lifecycle an advantage
